

This leather jewel case with golden perlé recalls directly the Botticelli “The Birth of Venus” of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Its shell shape draws inspiration from the shell where Venus stands.


The jewel box inside and the doll draw inspiration from a detail in Sandro Botticelli’s Primavera, the floral pattern of Flora’s garment.
This item has been created with Bruna De Concilio, who made the doll, for “La Galleria dell’Artigianato” project, promoted by Regione Toscana.




The leather cushion has been made drawing inspiration from the Cappelle Medicee, particularly from the Ferdinando de’ Medici sarcophagus, on which there is an alabaster and coloured marble cushion.


The photo album and the frame draw inspiration from Herodiade’s garment pattern in Bernardino Luini’s painting. They have been made for 1996 MuseoMuseo project, concerning production and commercialization of items ispired by the artistic heritage, in order to connect art and craftsmanship.
