OUR HISTORY
Florentine handcrafted
The origins of the small artisan company Peroni Firenze date back to 1956 when brothers Piero and Roberto Peroni founded their leather goods workshop in Florence, specialising also in the decoration of leather by hand in real gold.
Today the third generation of Peroni, Maurizio and Marco, is carrying on the tradition of high quality leather workcraft, preserving their professionality and manual ability, adding at the same time creativity and innovation.
Since 1956 we have been producing and decorating 100% handmade artistic leather creations in Florence.

QUALITY
We only use vegetable-tanned calf leather from our trusted tanneries.
AUTHENTICITY
The products are made entirely in Florence by us and our Italian craftsmen.

All our products are made and decorated entirely by hand.

Our technique
01
STEP ONE
In the first stage, we choose and cut the leather.

STEP TWO
The wet leather is mounted on wooden moulds and nailed in place.
03
STEP THREE
Once dried, it maintains its shape and is glued with any additional pieces.

STEP FOUR
At this stage, the leather is coloured by hand.

STEP FIVE
After colouring, we move on to the final treatment: polishing.

I had that wonderful experience this month and got to know Lisa who answered all my questions and took care of the transaction.
